When I bought a Kia Cee'd GT, I was expecting a real racing beast. Despite its 204 hp and some flexibility, it didn't offer all the feeling I was hoping for. Especially at low revs. The maximum torque is supposed to come out at 1750 rpm but you have to get past 3300 to really enjoy it. So I bought a P-Tronic box-unit and I don't regret it. I installed a P-tronic box on a Mercedes E220 cdi 143 bhp. The car works really well. It's a fighter plane! I get more engine torque and above all a reduced diesel consumption of nearly a litre. I feel great sensations with your tuning box on my Toyota Hilux 2.4D that I found very underpowered of origin. I used to have a DMax that was already weak but the Hilux 2.4 is worse. I opted for the Hilux which I find more comfortable than the competing pick-ups I tested. I had heard that it might be coming out soon in 2.8 but since I had to decide quickly, I bought the 2.4 D anyway. Glad I found the solution to "wake him up".
