  • vw touran common rail The VW Touran is being updated. The principal modification involves the fact that the model finally receives Common Rail engine versions.  Starting with the 1.6 TDI 90 and105 bhp BlueMotion. The P-Tronic box-unit will be particularly welcome on these engines, whose punch is not their greatest asset? This box-unit enables the Touran 90 and 105 bhp to gain 29 ch/66 Nm and 33 ch/68 Nm respectively. The 2.0 TDI swaps its pump injectors for common rail and retains its performance levels of 140 and 170 bhp. Three petrol engines are also scheduled: the 1.2 TSI 105 bhp and 1.4 TSI 140 and 170 bhp.
With its brand-typical grill, the front end of the Touran comes closer to that of the Golf, Polo and Scirocco, but its dimensions make it easily recognisable. At the rear, the lights have lost a little weight. In the cab, the evolution is very obvious. The instruments have been re-worked, the central console revised, there is a new steering wheel? The rear seats also deserve a mention, as in the 7-seat version they fold in a manner which provides a maximum of loadspace.
