 What could be more normal for a sporty model than to bring out a ?sporty version? First there was the Golf GTD. Now there will be the Scirocco GT TDI. This variation of the coupe receives a 2.0 TDI 170 bhp engine for which P-Tronic already offers a digital additional box unit. This engine version complements a range which up to now was made up of three TSI models and the 2.0 TDI 140 bhp. With the 170 bhp, the Scirocco can reach 100 km/h in 8.1 seconds, and go on to a top speed of 222 km/h. It consumes 5.3 litres of diesel per 100 km and emits 139 grams of CO2 per km in its cleanest form. Outside, nothing changes except the possibility (as an option) of fitting the beauty with 19 inch Lugano alloy wheels. Where equipment is concerned, finally, the Scirocco GT TDI has been fitted with the AAC (Adaptive Chassis Control) shock absorber mechanism, with a multi-functional computer, an automatic dual zone air conditioner, with automatic lights and windscreen wipers and a 6 CD loader. |
