 The 2008 Opel Zafira has been slightly re-worked at an aesthetic level. But the main evolution is to be found under the bonnet, with a range of 11 diesel, petrol and natural gas options. Where diesels are concerned, alongside the 100 and 120 bhp 1.9 CDTI versions, two new Common Rail 1.7 CDTI units have been announced, producing 110 and 125 bhp. They also produce 280 and 320 Nm respectively, and come with a six-speed manual gearbox and a maintenance-free particulate filter. Already covered by P-Tronic, these engines can be increased to 148 and 161 bhp, with torque moving up to 358 and 409 Nm. |
