 The Porsche Cayenne gains in power and in miserliness. The 2011 version of its 3.0 V6 now develops 245 bhp, which is 5 bhp more than its predecessor. The use of lighter materials, the adoption of a new turbo-compressor and of a redesigned injection system, enable this Cayenne to lose 20 kg and to gain in performance. Acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h is two tenths quicker, standing at 7.6 seconds, while diesel consumption drops to 7.2 litres per 100 km and noxious emissions decrease to 189 grams of CO2. |
