| The re-worked version of the 3-cylinder engine of the smart fortwo develops 54 bhp and 130 Nm. This is 9 bhp and 20 Nm better than the one we have been used to up to now. This additional 21% of power and 18% of torque is reflected in the performance figures, with the two-seater now accelerating from 0-100 km/h in 16.8 seconds. There is no impact on fuel consumption or CO2 emissions, however, which remain unequalled at 3.3 litres per 100km and 88 grams per km respectively. |
A few improvements have also been made to the list of options available on this smart fortwo: foldable armrest, multi-media functions and a hands free kit with colour screen amongst others.
