 With this Peugeot 308 SW, the manufacturer is clearly going into family mode. Functional and with generous storage space, this estate car is 10 cm longer than the saloon version, (at 4.50 m) and 7 cm longer than the 207 SW. The boot holds 674 litres, a figure which moves up to 2,149 litres with the rear seats folded down.Where design is concerned, the front of this 308 SW is in line with recent models from the brand, while the rear appears to be more innovative, particularly where the shape of the lights is concerned. There is a wide range of engines on offer: petrol, diesel and even Bio-Flex (E85). Where turbo-diesels are concerned, the 1.6 HDi with a particulate filter in 90 and 110 bhp variants are of interest, allied to a new six-speed manual gearbox. The 136 bhp FAP engine is also in the range, allied to a six-speed manual or automatic box. |
