  • peugeot 3008 The Peugeot 3008 is set to blossom in Spring. This front-drive crossover is designed to be a mixture of an estate, a mono-volume and an SUV. Built on the same platform as the 308 saloon, the 3008 will be the incarnation of a technical challenge for the manufacturer. Firstly, because it opens the way towards hybridisation: a model with an electric motor driving the rear wheels is announced for 2011. And also because innovative equipment will make driving safer and more pleasurable. Grip Control (to manoeuvre on difficult ground), Dynamic Rolling Control ( to control roll), radar for distance control, automatic electronic handbrake and ESP are in particular included in the programme. Under the bonnet, six engines have been announced. Amongst these, the 1.6 HDi 110 bhp will only consume 4,9 litres of diesel and emit 130 grams of CO2 per km. The 2.0 HDi 163 bhp is also available. From launch, both of these can be fitted with P-Tronic additional box units, which will redefine the notion of driving pleasure.
