  • peugeot 207 As from this month, August 2009, the soft-nose, with varying amounts of chrome, will constitute a common base for the different models of the Peugeot 207. And while the front is becoming harmonised, the rear end continues its liberation with the appearance of red and white diode lights on the saloon and CC versions. Effort has been put into improving the aerodynamics of the 207, with its drag factor being reduced to 0.274 Cx. The engines, which range from 69 to 175 bhp in petrol and diesel variants, have also been re-worked to pollute less. The 1.4 HDi producing 90 bhp and 215 Nm thus now records 99 grams of CO2/km from consumption of 3.8 l/100 km. This performance is achieved by new engine management and the use of a re-injected exhaust gas cooling system (EGR exchanger).
