 The fourth generation of the Opel Astra will be unveiled at the Frankfurt Show in September. This model offers more space than its predecessor, thanks to a wheelbase lengthened by 71 mm. It will also be more advanced on the technological side. The Astra will be offered with the famous Opel Eye, the camera capable of reading and interpreting road signs. Its mecatronic chassis will be fitted with adapting shock absorbers. Opel has also announced a lighting system which takes account of climatic conditions, of luminosity and of trajectories. Four of the eight engines on offer are turbo-diesels. They will range from 1.3 to 2.0, with power output of between 95 and 160 bhp. |
