 The new Mazda 6 represents an interesting revision of the model. Lighter, more aerodynamic, better sound-proofed and more functional than its predecessor, it will be available in saloon and estate versions with four or five doors. Its engine compartment will receive three petrol units and the turbo-diesel from the previous generation: a 2.0 litre with particulate filter linked to a six-speed gearbox. This engine produces 140 bhp and 330 Nm. It registers good performance: 0 to 100 km/h in 10.5 seconds, and consumption of 5.6 litres per 100 km (4-door saloon).The new Mazda 6 will appear in the show rooms at the beginning of the second half of 2008. |
