 On the occasion of its face-lift, the Kia Cee'd receives some noteworthy modifications. Its design has been touched up, to more resemble its little sister, the Soul. The work involves the grill, headlights and spoilers. On the inside, the steering wheel, gear lever and central console, are new. It should also be pointed out that dual zone air conditioning, red dashboard lighting and a more modern radio have all been adopted. Another major evolution is that the 2.0 CRDi disappears from the catalogue. As a response to the 1.4 and 1.6 petrol versions, Kia is offering several power levels from the 1.6 CRDi. A 1.6 CRDi Eco has also been announced. It will only emit 110 grams of CO2/km, in particular thanks to ISG, the in-house stop & go system, allied to a 6-speed gearbox and to a hill start assistance module. |
