 Replacing the Atos, the Hyundai i10 is available with a fine array of equipment. Along with the ABS, ESP and 4 airbags, it can be fitted with an integral radio, air conditioning and heated seats amongst others. Two engines are possible. A petrol unit and, for the first time, a turbo-diesel. This is a 1.1 Common Rail CRDi producing 75 bhp. It is an economical and clean engine, only using 4.3 litres of diesel per 100km and emitting less than 115 grams of CO2 per km. With a P-Tronic box-unit, this engine increases to 97 bhp and torque moves up from 152 to 195 Nm. Fuel consumption is decreased by 10%. |
