  • for ranger Marketed last April, the new Ford Ranger has less clipped lines than its predecessor. The front is noticeably more refined, although it remains imposing; the rear view mirrors have been re-touched along with the side air intakes between the wheels and the mirrors. Three types of cab are on offer: simple, deeper and double. Ford has announced that it has put some effort into making the pick-up's cab more comfortable. Cab insulation has been improved, as has road performance.
Two Duratorq turbodiesel engines represent the main attraction of the Ranger under the bonnet. These are the 2.5 TDCi developing 143 bhp and 330 Nm and the 3.0 TDCi giving 156 bhp and 380 Nm. These engines already figure in the P-Tronic catalogue.
