Inside, Mercedes have given their 4 x 4 new materials, a redesigned steering wheel, a Bluetooth and i-Pod connection along with improved safety (Pre-Safe and Neck-Pro) as standard. In the engine compartment, the five previous petrol and diesel units are still to be found (producing up to 388 bhp) but they have been optimised. This involves the electronic management system and the exhaust channel. The result is a saving of almost half a litre per 100 km. |
