| It is scheduled to make an appearance in the spring. The Dacia Duster takes its place as a go-anywhere model with the advantage of the experience of the group which has developed it. Nissan provides the four wheel drive transmission which will enable all three modes (Auto, Lock and 4x2) to adapt to all ground conditions. It should be noted that a 4x2 version will be available. Renault is responsible for the architecture and engines on the Duster. Nothing particularly new in this department, with the 1.6 16 v petrol, along with the 1.5 dCi in 85 and 105 bhp versions.
At 4.31 metres long, weighing in at 1,280 kg (1,180 in 4x2 version), the Duster is a good looker. It can accommodate 5 persons or 1,600 dm³ of load with the seats folded.
