 At the design level, the new Audi A6 respects the evolution of other models from this manufacturer. This goes for the grill, the air intakes, the lights and the rear shield.The petrol and diesel engines are direct injection. Where diesels are concerned, the 2.0 TDI is offered in 136 and 170 bhp versions. A 2.0 TDIe has been announced, 'e' for ecological or economical, at will. This 136 bhp engine will consume only 5.3 litres of diesel per 100 km and emit just 139 grams of CO2 per km. The 190 bhp 2.7 TDI and the 240 bhp 3.0 TDI are also on offer, and available in Quattro form. Apart from the TDIe on which the P-Tronic engineers are already working, all of these engines can immediately be fitted with an additional box unit. Amongst other improvements to the A6 are notably completely rethought-out suspension. The front shock absorbers are larger and a hydraulic adaptive system is on offer as an option. |
