 So the large format sporty 5-door coupe is now off the blocks with Audi! This Audi A5 Sportback is in fact built on the platform of the A4. The wheelbase is identical for the two models whereas with its 4.71 metre length and 1.85 metre width, the A5 Sportback is longer and wider than the A4 by 1 and 2.5 cm respectively. This makes it 9 cm longer than the A5 we have seen up to now. This gives it the interior space of an A4 and moad space which can extend to 980 litres.When it is launched in the autumn, the Audi A5 Sportback is set to have 5 engines on offer: 2 petrol and 3 TDI. The TDI will be the 2.0 TDI 170 bhp, the 2.7 TDI 190 bhp and the 3.0 TDI 240 bhp. These engines are already equipped by P-Tronic. The 143 bhp version of the 2.0 TDI will be added to the offering towards the middle of next year. |
