7th BMW 5 Series: the tuning boxes have arrived

For its seventh generation, the BMW 5 Series retains its fluid lines, combining an impression of elegant sportiness with solidity. Longer and lighter than its predecessor, it is distinguished visually by a wider radiator grille and headlamps. Under the bonnet, the entry-level model retains a 20d with 190 hp/400 Nm, a little short as standard, despite the engine speed imposed on the model. A version equipped with a P-Tronic box that has already demonstrated its worth on the previous 520d, bringing the power and torque values up to 242 ch and 503 Nm. Alongside this, the best-sellers are the six-cylinder 530d 265 hp and the 540i 340 hp. P-Tronic also offers performance improvement solutions for these two models.
