I find that the Golf 7 1.5 TSI 150 hp has the behaviour of a turbo diesel. On the one hand, it's nice to have torque in low revs (even if it's not huge) but I think we've lost the fun side of the gasoline engine and this VW is too linear. With your box, I found the sensations of a gasoline engine : more willing and better at high revs. Felix S, Madrid
Coming from a 140 hp TDI I was very happy with, I naively thought that this TSI 150 would take my golf7 into another dimension. Big mistake. I guess I don't have to explain to you how flat this little 1.5 is. Well, WAS flat because with your chip, it's really really better. I would be curious to compare with a reprog but the fact that the box intervenes at the intake and camshaft level certainly contributes to the comparable efficiency you can see in the numbers. Can you confirm? In any case, the sensations are there! There is no comparison with the other brand's box I bought before yours, which was much cheaper but which was a real scam !!! It's like this, I have a 2006 Golf 1.9 tdi 90 bhp with 18 inch wheels. Because of these, I had lost power, but I acquired a P-Tronic additional IP box-unit 2 years ago. (...) The box unit works superbly, despite the large size of my wheels! I'm no longer driving a donkey! Thanks. Dany W., France
