Seat Leon 1.5 TSI 150 bhp: P-Tronic erases gearbox defects

I'm happy with my gearbox which largely erases the big flaw of the Seat Leon TSI 150 bhp: the length of its gear ratios. With the addition of power and torque, my Leon has certainly not become a warrior but it is much more pleasant to drive and safer. The Seat Leon 1.4 TSI 150 hp becomes a real sports car

I am a VW customer, and this is my first Seat. I drive less than 15,000 km/year. I chose this little 1.4 petrol turbo with 150 hp. My first thought was that the engine is much nicer than my previous 1.6 TDI. I had tested the 1.4 in an Audi Q2 and I got the impression that they had changed the engine mapping in my Leon. It's much too linear for my taste. I'm 62 and I wanted some fun when I bought this car. By adding a P-Tronic external reprogrammer (my fourth), my car has become much more agile and alert. Audi A3 1.4 TFSI 150 hp: the right choice

As a diesel driver for over 20 years I was out of my comfort zone, and I had trouble deciding between the TFSI 180 (no COD) and the TFSI 150 versions of the Audi A3. I chose the 150 hp engine (I had an Audi Q3 2.0 TDI 140). After a four-month wait, I received the car and I have to say the quiet compared to diesel is very enjoyable. The Audi revs well and the box does a great job. A real pleasure. The transition to two cylinders (COD) is barely noticeable. BUT, as supplied, it doesn't transmit the power efficiently. Especially when starting. Knowing that this version is limited, I opted for P-Tronic (external) engine reprogramming, partly to avoid losing my warranty. I placed my order and two days later I was able to enjoy this extra option: the torque and smoothness have transformed my TSFI 1.4 into an exciting sports car for fun on winding roads or for getting away from traffic troubles.
