Audi A3 1.4 TFSI 150 hp: the right choice
As a diesel driver for over 20 years I was out of my comfort zone, and I had trouble deciding between the TFSI 180 (no COD) and the TFSI 150 versions of the Audi A3. I chose the 150 hp engine (I had an Audi Q3 2.0 TDI 140). After a four-month wait, I received the car and I have to say the quiet compared to diesel is very enjoyable. The Audi revs well and the box does a great job. A real pleasure. The transition to two cylinders (COD) is barely noticeable. BUT, as supplied, it doesn't transmit the power efficiently. Especially when starting. Knowing that this version is limited, I opted for P-Tronic (external) engine reprogramming, partly to avoid losing my warranty. I placed my order and two days later I was able to enjoy this extra option: the torque and smoothness have transformed my TSFI 1.4 into an exciting sports car for fun on winding roads or for getting away from traffic troubles. Roundness and economy with the BMW X5 45e 394 hp
For budget reasons, I chose the BMW X5 Xdrive 45e rather than the Porsche Cayenne Hybrid. To get closer to the performance of the Cayenne, I added one of your tuning boxes to the engine, because I know you are one of the best tuning shops for BMW, even for the newer engines. Once fitted, accelerating gives the roundness of a bigger engine. With the 8-speed ZF gearbox, there is no loss of driveability and consumption now reaches the figures claimed by the manufacturer. The box has reconciled me to my Hyundai Tucson 1.6 T-GDI
I chose the Tucscon 1.6 turbo petrol because I think it has the best specification in technical terms. After 200 km, I realised the small four-cylinder engine doesn't allow for much responsiveness. I had to keep the Sport function on all the time to get enough power, but even then only at high revs. I was having to fill up all the time. I found the solution with your tuning box, which has reconciled me to my car. Excellent acceleration and power at all engine speeds.
