It fills in the gaps at low revs and makes it possible to take better advantage of an acceleration range that is already long at the base.     Audi A3 1.4 TFSI 150 hp: the right choice

    As a diesel driver for over 20 years I was out of my comfort zone, and I had trouble deciding between the TFSI 180 (no COD) and the TFSI 150 versions of the Audi A3. I chose the 150 hp engine (I had an Audi Q3 2.0 TDI 140). After a four-month wait, I received the car and I have to say the quiet compared to diesel is very enjoyable. The Audi revs well and the box does a great job. A real pleasure. The transition to two cylinders (COD) is barely noticeable. BUT, as supplied, it doesn't transmit the power efficiently. Especially when starting. Knowing that this version is limited, I opted for P-Tronic (external) engine reprogramming, partly to avoid losing my warranty. I placed my order and two days later I was able to enjoy this extra option: the torque and smoothness have transformed my TSFI 1.4 into an exciting sports car for fun on winding roads or for getting away from traffic troubles.     » Example 1 : fitting on the common rail (the most common)

    1. Remove the engine cover and locate a connector on the rail.

    2. Disconnect the connector.

    3. Connect the tuning box in line.

    4. Position the box in the engine compartment.

     

    » Example 2 : fitting on 4 injectors

    1. Remove the engine cover and locate the injectors.

    2. Disconnect the 4 connectors and connect the box to each of them.

    3. Connect the tuning box to the battery.

    4. Position the box in the engine compartment.

     

    » Example 3 : fitting to the VP Pump

    1. Remove the engine cover and locate a sliding plug.

    2. Remove this connector.

    3. Plug in the P-Tronic tuning box in line.

    4. Position the box and replace the engine cover.

     

    » Example 4 : fitting on injection pump

    1. Remove the engine cover and locate a rounded connector.

    2. Remove this connector from the injection pump.

    3. Connect the P-Tronic box

    4. Connect the tuning box to the battery.

     

    » Example 5 : Multiple connections (less than 5% of cases)

    1. Locate two or three visible connectors.

    2. Connect the first plug to one of the box.

    3. Repeat this two or three times.

    4. Position the box in the engine compartment.
