I chose the Tucscon 1.6 turbo petrol because I think it has the best specification in technical terms. After 200 km, I realised the small four-cylinder engine doesn't allow for much responsiveness. I had to keep the Sport function on all the time to get enough power, but even then only at high revs. I was having to fill up all the time. I found the solution with your tuning box, which has reconciled me to my car. Excellent acceleration and power at all engine speeds. Surprising smoothness on a Skoda Octavia 1.4 TSI
No regrets, quite the opposite – my Octavia 1.4 TSI combined with the P-Tronic tuning box is far better than I expected. It works great at all engine speeds! The smoothness is surprising (torque from 1400 rpm), giving the enjoyable sensation of pushing pleasantly firmly all the time with no suddenness. Simple to fit.
