Audi A3 1.4 TFSI 150 hp: the right choice

As a diesel driver for over 20 years I was out of my comfort zone, and I had trouble deciding between the TFSI 180 (no COD) and the TFSI 150 versions of the Audi A3. I chose the 150 hp engine (I had an Audi Q3 2.0 TDI 140). After a four-month wait, I received the car and I have to say the quiet compared to diesel is very enjoyable. The Audi revs well and the box does a great job. A real pleasure. The transition to two cylinders (COD) is barely noticeable. BUT, as supplied, it doesn't transmit the power efficiently. Especially when starting. Knowing that this version is limited, I opted for P-Tronic (external) engine reprogramming, partly to avoid losing my warranty. I placed my order and two days later I was able to enjoy this extra option: the torque and smoothness have transformed my TSFI 1.4 into an exciting sports car for fun on winding roads or for getting away from traffic troubles. The tuning-unit optimises the relaunch on Renault Clio 1.3 TCE 130 bhp

After having had some original electronic problems fixed by my dealer, I was finally able to take advantage of my Renault Clio 1.3 TCE 130 bhp but I quickly had to face the facts: its too low torque penalises its re-launches. On the advice of a friend, I bought your box-unit even though I was quite sceptical. Honestly: it's the best !!! My Clio has become a real sports car. The box is also very well calibrated to work with the EDC box, which was one of my initial fears. What's more, I've lowered my fuel consumption to 6.1 l/100 km. W Golf V 19 TDI 90 bhp: better than a BMW 120d

I went from a VW polo 1.9 tdi 100 bhp, to this Golf 1.9 tdi 90 bhp. Comparing the two, the engine of the 90 version is much too dusty and noisy. I went through P-Tronic's external engine reprogramming (box-unit). With the gain in torque and nervousness (just what is needed), I feel more power than on my BMW 1 120D which has 177 bhp.The equipment is reliable and I haven't had any problems. Peter D. (Hasselt)
