(26-09-2008) : The Audi A5 Cabriolet will be marketed in 2009. It will use the engines to be found in the coupe (2.7 TDI V6 and 3.9 TDI V6) and will be extremely appealing.

(20-09-2008) : The saloon and SW (estate) versions of the Peugeot 407 are being lightly re-worked. Amongst modifications announced are that the 136 bhp 2.0 HDi engine will have reduced diesel consumption and CO2 emissions.

(14-09-2008) : Designed on the basis of the 140 bhp 2.0 TDI engine, the Seat Alhambra Ecomotive claims to be whiter than white. And with good reason, for this monospace, with emissions of 159 grams of CO2 per km, is the cleanest in its category.

(05-06-2008) : To do battle with the BMW X3 and Audi Q5, Volvo will launch the XC60 at the end of this year. This crossover will be fitted with three engines, including two diesels: the 163 and 185 bhp versions of the 2.4 D5.

(31-05-2008) : The new Audi A4 Avant is 12 cm longer than its predecessor. It is initially being offered with five engines, including three latest generation diesels.

(25-05-2008) : With its integral transmission and 2.0 dCi engine producing 150 and 175 bhp, the Renault Koleos uses the platform of the Nissan Qashqai to enable the French manufacturer to take its first steps in the Crossover segment.

(19-05-2008) : Totally different from the previous model, the new Ford Fiesta benefits from the platform of the Mazda 2. It keeps its 1.4 TDCi producing 68 bhp and 1.6 TDCi producing 90 bhp under the bonnet, and will be marketed on four continents.

(13-05-2008) : The 7-seater Hyundai SUV destined for the European market will be called iX55 and will be released at the end of this year. An adaptation of the Veracruz sold in the USA, this iX55 will be fitted with a 3.0 litre CRDi producing 240 bhp. Other expected evolutions include the replacement of the Sonata by the i40 and the Getz by the i20.

(07-05-2008) : By receiving the 85 bhp version of the 1.5 dCi, the Dacia Logan MCV takes on a new dimension. For an estate offering 5 to 7 seats, even at a low price, it was time to do something. And P-Tronic can already give a boost to this model by enabling it to produce an extra 27 bhp and 57 Nm.

(01-04-2008) : Volkswagen is marketing the automatic transversal 7-speed double declutching DSG-7 gearbox. In the first instance, it will be offered on the Golf and Golf Plus equipped with the 1.4 FSI petrol and 1.9 TDI 105 bhp engines.

(26-03-2008) : The Toyota Land Cruiser 100 has just been renamed the Land Cruiser V8. Its 4.5 D4D biturbo engine develops 280 bhp and 650 Nm of torque, with the vehicle’s dimension also increasing in size.

(20-03-2008) : Don’t be misled by its appearance: the Jeep Patriot only differs from the Compass by its lines. For all the rest, it’s a clone. Particularly where its 2.0 CRD engine (140 bhp) is concerned.

(14-03-2008) : The latest evolution of the Audi A3 doesn’t just bring a canvas roof to the model. It also signals the integration of a new rear design, close to the A4. The A3 cabriolet will also receive, amongst other items, the 105 bhp 1.9 TDI engine and the new 2.0 140 bhp Common rail Unit.

(08-03-2008) : It can’t hide its family connection with the Mondeo. In its new version, the Ford Focus changes its face but remains equipped with the 1.6 TDCi and 2.0 TDCi engines which P-Tronic has been able to boost for some time now.

(02-03-2008) : To give the Croma a new look and enable it to be more convincing than its predecessor, Fiat has adopted the younger and sportier style of the Bravo. The 2008 version of this Nueva Croma remains equipped with the 1.9 JTD and 2.4 JTD engines.

(25-02-2008) : The Peugeot 807 family is growing. The 170 bhp 2.2 HDI bi-turbo extends the diesel offering. This is an engine already seen in the Peugeot 407 and 607 models.

(19-02-2008) : The Mazda 6 is coming with a very appealing look. Where engines are concerned, it retains the 2.0 litre turbo-diesel producing 140 bhp and 330 Nm.

(24-11-2007) : The VW Golf Bluemotion comes fitted, just like its big sister the VW Passat Bluemotion, with the 105 bhp 1.9 TDI engine producing 250 Nm of torque.

(30-10-2007) : Whether you like it or you don’t, the Mini Clubman unquestionably shows innovative styling. Where engines are concerned, the Mini Clubman receives two petrol engines and the 1.6 litre turbo-diesel equipped with overboost, which enables the maximum torque to increase from 240 Nm to 260 Nm from 1,750 revs.

(24-10-2007) : Ford will present the definitive version of its 4 x 4 leisure vehicle the Ford Kuga at the Frankfurt show, a model derived from the Iosis X concept car unveiled at the Paris show last year.

(18-10-2007) : The Citroën C5 is not the model with the youngest image of the manufacturer’s range. But this C5 Airscape concept which will be presented at the Frankfurt Motor Show may very well banish this image.
